We believe that as children of God we are called to be the salt and light in the world; living with integrity, showing compassion and making a visible difference in the lives of others.

True Hope Foundation exists to actively demonstrate God’s love through service. We do not hide our faith. We live it out by caring for those in need, walking alongside families, and bringing practical support into our community.

To be the “salt and light” means engaging with the world, not withdrawing from it, bringing goodness, restoration and truth where there is brokenness.

Providing regular, nutritious meals to children and families facing food insecurity.

Offering emotional care, guidance and safe spaces for healing and restoration.

Our Programmes

True Hope Foundation runs practical community programmes that support children, families and local organisations.

Early Childhood Development (ECD)

THF focuses on establishing Early Childhood Development facilities in regions impacted by poverty and inadequate educational quality.
 
Early child development is essential because it establishes the groundwork for a child’s entire life, rapidly influencing their brain development, social-emotional skills, cognitive abilities, and physical health. This process results in improved academic success, better school readiness, healthier behaviours, and greater lifelong productivity, thereby effectively reversing the effects of poverty and fostering well-rounded adults.
 
These centres serve as a haven for children while simultaneously promoting community enhancement by employing local women and offering training opportunities.

Aftercare Programme

Children face challenges in reaching their full academic potential because of overcrowded classrooms, insufficient staffing in schools, and limited parental engagement.
 
This programme aims to keep children and youth off the streets after school, helping to prevent their involvement in inappropriate or harmful activities and assisting them to reach their full academic potential.
 
The programme will offer one meal and assistance with homework, along with any additional academic support needed, such as reading and maths.

Supporting Local Programmes

At THF we also support local programmes and institutions.  We believe supporting other, often more established or specialised organisations is crucial for building a resilient, collaborative, and impactful civil society sector

Our Journey of Impact

Our work goes beyond temporary relief. We believe in transformational development, equipping individuals and families with the tools, skills and support needed for lasting change.

We don’t only meet immediate needs. We walk with people as they rebuild their lives socially, spiritually and practically.

Bringing Awareness

We educate and inform the community so that people can respond through prayer, giving and involvement.

Advocating

We speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, standing against injustice and supporting vulnerable communities.

Taking Action

We implement practical programmes that build skills, encourage responsibility and create sustainable change.
